Job Description
- Experience Required:
- 2 years preferred
- Fresh post-op craniotomies, vent settings, A-lines, central lines, Neuro patients, NIH evaluations, HD managed by dialysis staff, CRRT managed by RN, and general ICU experience.
- Average Daily Census: 24
- Float Requirement: Yes, will float to other MS units
- Call Requirement: None
- Holiday Requirement: Yes
- Weekend Requirement: Yes, 4 weekend shifts per month
Required Certifications
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) - can be acquired at the facility for a fee
- NIH (National Institutes of Health) Stroke Certification
Additional Information
- Background Check: Required within 6 months of start covering all locations lived/worked/in school within the past 7 years.
- Drug Testing: Required within 30 days of start.
- Health Documents:
- Tdap vaccine within 10 years
- Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
- Vaccination documentation for MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and others as specified.
- Competencies: Various competency exams required within 12 months of start and updated annually.
