Job Description

• Shifts: Rotating shifts per week, .90 FTE in a 2-week pay period.

  • 1st Week:

    • Mon to Wed: 2nd shift (1500-2300)
    • Fri and Sat: 3rd shift (2300-0700)
  • 2nd Week:

    • Mon to Wed: 2nd shift (1500-2300)
    • Fri: 2nd shift (1500-2300)
• Call Requirements: Based on department needs, currently 2-3 nights per pay period (2300-0700).
• Weekends: On-call, currently every other weekend (Fri and Sat 3rd shift 2300-0700).
• Holidays: Rotating with regular staff.
• Experience Required:

  • 1+ years of CT experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with most X-ray/CT equipment.
  • Experience with EPIC is a plus.
• Flexibility: Schedule may change based on other tech's PTO; may need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.

Required Credentials

• Ascension Specialty Exam: Must complete prior to first assignment and updated every 3 years.
• MMR Vaccination: Documented proof of two MMR vaccines or positive IGG titer; no declinations accepted.
• Fit Test: Required for all travelers; preferred to be completed prior to start.
• Hepatitis B: Documentation of vaccination series completion or signed declination.
• Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (October 1 - March 31); exemptions accepted with mask requirement.
• Health Statement: Statement of good health or completed physical exam prior to first assignment, updated annually.
• Driver's License/State ID: Must be valid and match address on file.
• 2 Step PPD or IGRA: Required prior to start; updated annually.
• Varicella: Documented proof of vaccination or history of disease; no declinations accepted.
• Tdap: Must be valid and not expired.
• BLS Certification: Must be AHA certified.
• License/Certificate Verification: Current license verification required within 30 days prior to start.
• Background Checks: Criminal background check and employment verification for the past seven years.

Additional Information

• Skills Checklist: Clinical skills checklist to be completed within one year of start; updated annually.
• Drug Screen: 12 panel drug screen required within 30 days prior to start.
• Education Verification: Verification of education relevant to clinical work must be completed within 90 days of start.
• Professional References: At least two professional references required prior to first assignment.
• Exit Survey: To be completed within 72 hours at the end of the assignment.
