Job Description
- Seeking a NICU RN with 2+ years of experience in a Level III or greater NICU.
- Responsibilities include managing patients 22+ weeks gestation, high-frequency ventilators, conventional ventilators, CPAP/SiPAP, and sterile central line management.
- Must be proficient in neonatal resuscitation and responding to neonatal emergencies and high-risk deliveries.
- Majority of shifts will be night shifts, with the ability to rotate to day shifts as needed.
- Availability for every other weekend and holidays (Easter, Memorial Day) may be required.
Required Credentials and Qualifications
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Current RN license verification (Nursys) within 30 days prior to start.
- License/Certificate Verification.
- Ascension Color Vision assessment.
- Ascension Core Competencies completion.
- Ascension EKG Exam completion.
- MMR vaccination documentation or positive IGG titer.
- Fit Test for respiratory protection.
- Hepatitis B vaccination documentation or declination.
- Influenza vaccine documentation or declination (mask required if declination).
- Health Statement or completed physical exam.
- Driver's License/State ID verification.
- 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) testing.
- Varicella vaccination documentation or history verification.
- Tdap vaccination documentation.
- Ascension Profile (resume or profile).
- Ascension 2 Professional References.
- Ascension Criminal Background Check Results.
- Ascension EPLS verification.
- Ascension Skills Checklist completion.
- Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen.
- Ascension Badge Photo.
- Ascension Education Verification.
- Ascension Confirmation of Assignment.
Additional Information
- All required credentials must be submitted prior to the start of the assignment.
- Documentation must be updated annually or as specified.
- A survey will be sent to the contract worker at the completion of the assignment for feedback.
