RN Psych position available with a focus on pediatric psychiatry.
Inpatient Program for patients ages 3 to 17 years of age requiring 24-hour care.
Includes a nurturing and non-coercive environment.

Job requirements

2 years minimum experience in psychiatric nursing.
Trauma informed, patient-centered care with verbal de-escalation skills required.
EMR proficiency with EPIC preferred.
Willingness to float to other behavioral health areas within the Epstein Units and AMHU.

Schedule information

Evening shifts & every other weekend.
32 hours per week.
Rotating shifts up to 20% for Day positions (not required for Night positions).

Unit Name: Epstein 2 Pediatric Psychiatry.
Patient to Clinician Ratio: 1 to 3.
Patient Population: Children ages 3-17.
Bed Count: 30.
Census: 20-25.

Additional Details

COVID-19 vaccine is required with no exemptions or waivers considered.
MMR, Influenza Vaccine, and TB Test documentation are mandatory.
