Job details

A large system in Nebraska/Iowa is looking for Day and Night ICU RN's.
Valid RN license in the US with a clean record.
12 hour shifts, 2 years of unit experience.

Job requirements

Valid RN license in the US with a clean record.
2 years of unit experience.
ICU experience with experience in drips, vents, bipaps.
Must be able to titrate drips.
Prefer previous travel experience.

Schedule information

Shifts & Scheduling - 1830-0700, every third weekend.
No self-scheduling.
Cannot guarantee block scheduling.
A traveler is needed for high need shift.
Weekend Requirements- every third weekend.
Holiday Requirements- 4th of July.

Unit specific information

No nurse aids on this unit.
Are RNs required to read their own strips? Monitor tech will read but nurse must be able to read and verify.

Additional Details

RN's - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation.
Must receive a 90% to pass or will be terminated.
Common diagnoses/Types of patients- Medical ICU- sepsis, respiratory failure, stroke, MI.
