Job requirements

Education: AD
Minimum Experience: 3-5 years Peds critical care or NICU. Must be able to function Level IV NICU.
Required Skillset: PICU Experience Required, Vents-Servo I and Servo u, LTV's, Astral and Trilogy, Oscillators, Trach patients, knowledge of invasive and non-invasive ventilation, CPAP, BiPaP, RAM cannula, NAVA ventilation, PEP, INO

Schedule information

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 36
Shift Requirements: 12-hour NOC shift 1830-0700
Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend, occasionally every 3rd
Holiday Rotation: N/A
On Call/Call Back Requirements: N/A
Call-Off Policy: Client can terminate contract with 2 weeks’ notice if census dictates.

Unit specific information

Float Requirements: Primarily NICU but may need to float to general med/surg acute care units, PICU, and EDTC.
Charting: Epic Clin Doc, preferred.
24 bed peds cardiac ICU, 24 beds peds medical ICU, 24 beds peds surgical ICU, 70 bed level IV NICU
2-3 RCP's in each of PICU, 3-4 RCP's in NICU depending on census.
Manage respiratory care patients, vent management, intubations, extubations, suctioning, treatments.

Additional Details

Flu vaccine required. NO EXEMPTIONS
Scrub Colors: Any professional scrubs
Jewelry (body piercing/body adornment): A single small stud is now permitted to be worn in the nose. No other visible body piercings (e.g. tongue, eyebrow, lips and gauges) are acceptable (except ear piercings). Flesh colored or clear piercing plugs may now be worn.
