Unit Name: Pingree 5.
Brief Unit Description: Brand new 24 bed Medical Telemetry Unit. Salem Hospital is a 400+ bed facility that has 220 Med Surg beds plus the ICU, Maternity, etc.
Years of Experience Required: 3 years.
Skill Sets Required: Ability to read Cardiac Telemetry strips.
Clinician to Patient Ratio: 4 – 5 Patients: 1 RN.
Patient Population: Adult medical patients.
Bed Count: 24.
Census: 24.
EMR (Charting System): EPIC.
Floating Required: Yes.
Rotating Shifts Required: Yes, rotation required as needed to cover open night shifts. Day Rotate positions rotate a couple of shifts per month.

Job requirements

Must have completed primary COVID-19 vaccination series approved by the FDA or WHO.
Documentation of two measles vaccines, two mumps vaccines, and one rubella vaccine, or proof of immunity via blood test.
Strongly Preferred: Record of 3 Hep B vaccines or proof of immunity via blood test.
Vaccine required during flu season Sept 15th - April 30th.
Must have documentation of TB skin test screening within 3 months of start date.
Physician Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date.
Upload attestation for background checks and criminal history.

Additional Details

Required upon hire: MGB Respirator Med Eval Questionnaire.
Required for Submission: 2 recent references, minimum 1 Supervisor or Above in Skill set.
