FLOAT POOL M/S TELE RN (MUST BE WILLING TO FLOAT TO 8 DIFFERENT UNITS), Nights & EOW - 36hrs. RESPONSIBLE FOR CARDIAC MONITORING, CARDIAC DRIPS & READING TELE STRIPS – 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
Unit Name: Float Pool RN (must be willing to Float between 8 different units).
Experience Required: Two years of acute care hospital experience.
Skill Sets Required: Telemetry monitoring including measuring intervals and interpreting strips every 4 hours. TR Band experience. Must be able to perform Cardiac Drips and Reading Tele Strips.
Patient Population: Care for ED border patients; medication nurse in the acute mental health unit, and care for non-vented patients who are transfer ready in the ICU.
EMR (Charting System): EPIC, Omnicell, Kronos.

Job requirements

Active Massachusetts RN License
2 years of acute care hospital experience
Skill Set: Telemetry monitoring, TR Band experience, Cardiac Drips, Reading Tele Strips

Schedule information

Nights & EOW - 36hrs.

Unit specific information

Clinician to Patient Ratio: Days & Eves up to 5:1. Nights up to 6:1.
Bed Count: 371
Census: Units range from 8 to 41 beds.

Additional Details

A completed primary COVID-19 vaccination series that is approved by the FDA or the WHO OR up-to-date COVID vaccine is required.
Documentation of two MMR vaccines or proof of immunity via blood test is required.
Vaccine required during flu season Sept 15th - April 30th.
Documentation of TB skin test screening within 3 months of start date or updated if >6 month break is required.
Physician Statement signed within 365 days of start date and updated if >6 month break is required.
