Unit Name: Davenport 9.
Brief Unit Description: 39-bed Medical/Telemetry Adult Inpatient Unit. Our patients generally have multiple medical conditions in addition to their admitting diagnosis. We have 20 private rooms and 19 semi-private.
Years of Experience Required: 2 years is preferred.
Rotating Shifts Required: Day Rotators may be rotated between (7a-7p, 11a-11p or 7p-7a) when needed. Night positions do not rotate. Rotation frequency: low.
Skill Sets Required: Telemetry experience, interpret Tele Strips, Nursing Assessment skills, knowledge of medication safety and administration.
Clinician to Patient Ratio: RN's working with a PCA typically have 4/5 patients. RN's working alone have 3 patients.
Patient Population: Medical, low-risk cardiac.
Bed Count: 39.
EMR (Charting System): EPIC.

Job requirements

Certifications Required: Active Massachusetts RN License. BLS.
