<li><b>Start Date:</b> ASAP (4 weeks from offer for compliance requirements if candidate has AK license in hand).</li>

<li><b>Shift:</b> 3x12 rotating. Will be working a mix of 12 hour days, eves, nights. RN would be scheduled for the entire month either day or night. There may be an occasion it would be best to have them rotate. Perm staff do self-schedule, so the needs of the unit and skill mix is taken into consideration. Travelers can also schedule switch with perm staff if there are days that will work better for that RN.</li>

<li><b>Ratios:</b> 1:4</li>

<li><b>Years of Experience REQ:</b> Minimum of 1 year Required. Facilitation skills preferred.</li>

<li><b>Epic REQ?</b> 1 year of epic required</li>

<li><b>First-Timers Accepted:</b> Yes but Travel experience is preferred.</li>

<li><b>Weekend REQ:</b> TBD</li>

<li><b>Skills REQ:</b> IV Insertion required and tele interpretation preferred.</li>

<li><b>Is on-call REQ?</b> No</li>

<li><b>Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs?</b> Yes, Will float as needed.</li>

<li><b>Locals Accepted:</b> No</li>

<li><b>Pending License Accepted:</b> AK license needed. Will consider candidates without an AK license, but they will be booked 10-12 weeks out to allow processing time.</li>

<li><b>Guaranteed Hours:</b> 36 GWW</li>

<li><b>Top 10 Diagnosis/Procedures:</b> Congestive Heart Failure, Orthopedics, Diabetes Mellitus, UTI, Hypertension, Pneumonia, GI Bleed, Renal Failure, COPD, Pancreatitis, AMS,Bowel Obstruction, BIPAP, Wound/ dressing changes (wound vac)</li>

<li><b>Common Equipment:</b> walkers, canes, crutches, vital sign machines, glucometer, thermometer, bedside commode, shower chair, CPM machine (continuous passive motion), hoyer lift, sara steady (powered),nurse call system

1 year of Epic experience required

AK state license required

Mix of 12 hour days, evenings, and nights
