Job Description
- Position for an X-ray Tech with responsibilities including floating to different units within the OSU organization as needed.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year required
- Certifications:
- BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- EPIC experience required
- Skills:
- GE Siemens, PACS, and portables preferred
- Must have fluoroscopy experience
- On-call Requirement: Yes
- Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend

Certifications and Competencies
- ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- BLS: Basic Life Support
- PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
- NIH Stroke Certification: Required for ER and Critical Care RNs
- Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam: Required for all RNs within 1 year of start
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam: Required for all RN/LVN candidates
- Background Check: 7-Year Criminal Background Check required
- Drug Testing: Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen required within 3 months of start
- Health Documents:
- Physical Exam
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
- Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
- MMR Vaccines or Positive Titer
- Hepatitis B Titer or 3-Vaccine Series
- Varicella Vaccines or Positive Titer
- Flu vaccine or declination required during flu season
