  • New Facility Opening: The Jack & Sheryl Morris Cancer Center, New Jersey’s first freestanding cancer hospital, is set to open in May 2025.
  • Connection: The new center will be connected to RWJ University Hospital by a pedestrian bridge.

Job Requirements

  • Experience:
    • 2 years of experience preferred.
    • First-time travelers accepted.
  • Schedule:
    • Every 3rd weekend.
    • No on-call shifts.
    • Will float to the main hospital as needed.
    • No block scheduling.
  • Licensing:
    • May submit with a pending New Jersey license.

Certifications Required

  • Basic Life Support (BLS): Required.
  • ARRT(N) or NMTCB AND ARRT (CT) or ARRT (R): Required.
  • EPIC Charting: Familiarity required.
  • Experience with GE and Philips NM Cameras: Preferred.

Additional Information

  • Dress Code: Black scrubs required.
  • Floating Policy: Must be willing to float to other departments as needed.
  • Local Candidates: Accepted.

Compliance and Documentation

  • Background Check: Required within 30 days of start.
  • Drug Testing: 10-panel drug screen required within 30 days of start.
  • Health Documents:
    • Physical exam required within the previous 12 months.
    • TB test or chest X-ray required.
    • Influenza vaccination or medical/religious exemption required annually.

Skills and Competencies

  • Competency Exams: Required for specific units (e.g., EKG, medication).
  • References: Two references required, including one managerial reference.
