  • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Inpatient, outpatient, and emergent, Stroke Thrombectomy, Embolizations, Lines, Tubes, Visceral, Para, Thora, Biopsies-drain insertions-chest tubes, etc, CT and US areas
  • Job Duties: RN in charge of the conscious sedation and have autonomy in managing this closely, charting, circulating, pre and post for IR
  • Experience or 'Must have' skills: Moderate sedation experience. Teamwork, and willingness to help out when needed
  • EMR/Equipment: EPIC and Philips Xper (Hemo), Siemens C-Arm
  • Interventionalist hours/on call: Intensivitst MD In house 24/7 MD, IR always available, on call after hours
  • Shifts & Scheduling: 2x10hr shifts & 2x8hr shifts OR all 8s; 0700-1530 and 0600-1630, Team scheduling, posted 17 days prior for 6 weeks at a time

  • Shifts & Scheduling: 2x10hr shifts & 2x8hr shifts OR all 8s; 0700-1530 and 0600-1630
  • Weeknight/Call Requirements: 1-2 days per week
  • Weekend/Call Requirements: Every third weekend on call
  • Holiday/Call Requirements: Every other
  • What is call response time? 30 minutes
    Unit specific information
  • # of suites/labs: 2 labs
  • # cases per day on average 5-10
  • Is there a manager/Charge Nurse on each shift: Team Lead there and working in the lab, supervisor and lead to sign time cards
  • IR Techs: Yes
  • Floating Requirements: Radiology pre/post
  • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Provided
  • How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: One week- classroom and lab
    Additional Details
  • Radiation Badge must be supplied and in hand prior to start
  • Lead will be provided, bring your own lock for locker and hospital designated shoes
  • Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
  • RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
