A hospital in California is looking for an experienced ER nurse for a travel contract.

Job requirements

The right candidate will have 3 full years of experience, hold an active BLS, NIHSS, ACLS, PALS and CA License.
CERNER REQUIRED.
Will be required to float to Peds ER.

Schedule information

12 hrs, 7a-7p, 11a-11p, 1p-1a, 3p-3a, 7p-7a. No block scheduling. Traveler needs to be flexible with the scheduling.
Every other weekend.
2 out of every 3 holidays.

Unit specific information

ICU is 1:2; peds 1:4; adults 1:4; procedural sedation 1:1.
Use ER techs or CNAs, have LVNs that run fast track area.
Adult ER-BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS is required; Peds ER-BLS, ALS, PALS and ENPC preferred or CPEN preferred.
2 years experience required.
Phillips - they have a monitor tech.
Adult ER is a STEMI, CVA and burn receiving center.
In the Peds ER, they are a receiving center for pediatrics.
All candidates must have some experience with Peds and Adults.
