• Experience Required: 2 years; first-time travelers accepted
• Weekends: Every other weekend required
• Holidays: Required as scheduled
• Floating: Required within the specialty and lower acuity as needed
• On-call: Not required

Required Certifications and Licenses

• Licenses: MD RN
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
  • CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute)

Preferred Skills

• Unit Specific Procedures and Protocols:

  • EKGs
  • Drips: Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin, Dopamine, Dobutamine, Lasix, Hypertonic Na+ (not titratable, within a parameter)
• Ability to run and read strips, report every 4 hours

  • Flu Vaccine or Medical/Religious exemption
  • COVID-19 vaccination or exemption (if applicable)
  • Drug Testing (Negative 9 Panel Drug Screen)

• References: Two professional references required within 1 year of start.
