  • Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, antiarrhythmics
  • Shifts & Scheduling: 0630-1830, 1830-0630
  • Weekend Requirements: Every other
  • Holiday Requirements: Every other or as needed for based on unit needs
  • Floating Requirements: Will float to all inpatient units, excluding Maternity/NICU
  • Scrub Color/Dress Code: Navy Blue
  • How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 2 shifts

  • Nurse:Patient Ratios: 1:1-2 ICU, 1:4 PCU
  • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Adults and Peds >15 years old, Neuro surgery (not required exp.), Respiratory failure, ARDS, MODS, sepsis, stroke, cardiogenic shock (impella, balloon pump - not required exp.), renal failure (CRRT) - not required exp., general surgery, GI bleeds, cancer specific surgeries - esophagectomy, internal chemo administration
  • RT Equipment: Nasal cannula to vents
    Additional Details
  • Fast paced unit with volume flexes due to being primary tertiary hospital for the system. Attributes that will make a nurse successful on this unit are the ability ask questions, a positive attitude, willingness to help others, critical thinking skills, personable, and positive attitude. Have a team environment meant to foster high quality care and work with attendings and student providers (fellows, residents) to collaborate on care.
  • Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
  • RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
