- A hospital in Arizona is looking for experienced nurses for a travel contract for their MS/Tele float pool. The right candidate will have 2+ years of current tele experience, an active BLS, ACLS and AZ license or compact. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO TITRATE DRIPS!! There will be frequent floating to the sister facility, Mercy Gilbert. Travelers are required to pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to starting (2 max attempts) and will take a pass/fail Sim lab on day 1 of orientation. COVID vaccine is required or declination form with supporting documentation from clergy or MD.
Job details
- 2+ years of current tele experience
- Active BLS, ACLS
- Active AZ license or compact
- Ability to titrate drips
- Pass a dysrhythmia exam prior to start (WITH 2 MAX ATTEMPTS)
- Pass/fail Sim Lab on day one of orientation
Job requirements
- Shifts: 12 hr shifts. 7-7
Schedule information
- Float to ICU, Cardiac Tele, Tele units, MedSurg, and various holding areas
- Will float between all Tele and MedSurg units
- Floor specific orientations are provided
- Common diagnosis/Types of patients: Post cath lab, post vascular procedures, day 2 CABG patients, general tele, Neuro post surgical, post cranis, spine, CVAs post TPA, General MedSurg patients
Unit specific information
- MUST BE ABLE TO TITRATE CARDIAC DRIPS!!
- Visit sister facilities
- Pass dysrhythmia exam and Sim lab on orientation
- Floating to various units required
- COVID vaccine required or valid declination
