• Unit: IMC (Intermediate Care)
• Number of Beds: 34
• Staffing:

  • Day Shift: 1 charge nurse, 9 nurses, 4 patient care technicians (PCTs)
  • Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 9 nurses, 4 PCTs
• Patient Ratios: 4:1
• Equipment: Bedside monitors, glucometers, dopplers, standing scales, wheelchairs, hoyer lift
• EMR: Not specified

Required Qualifications

• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NIHHS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications such as CATN, TCAR, or TCCN
• Experience with typical procedures performed on the unit:

  • Emergent chest tube placement
  • Midlines or PICCs
  • Emergent bedside bronchoscopy
