Must live at least 100 miles from the facility.
Experience in a large hospital and Level 1 trauma is required.
48 hours needed; can accept 36 hours during the interview.

ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA or ARC only)
BLS - Basic Life Support (AHA or ARC only)
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (AHA or ARC only, required for specific units)
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (AAP only, required for specific units)
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course (preferred for ER)
EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring (required for L&D within 2 years of start)
NIH Stroke Certification - required for all RNs, except at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital

Physical Exam - required within 1 year of start, expires annually.
Fit Mask - 3M N-95 fit test required, must pass prior to start.
TB Testing - True 2-step PPD, Q-Gold, or T-spot within 1 year of start, updated annually.
Vaccinations - Proof of vaccinations for Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella required.
Flu Vaccine - required prior to start (October 1 – March 31).
Drug Testing - Negative 10 Panel Drug Test within 30 days of start date.

Background check within 60 days of start, including statewide, county, federal searches, and education verification.
Two recent professional references required.

Candidates must adhere to specific dress codes and scrub colors as per facility guidelines.
A photo badge is required, with strict guidelines for submission.
Various forms and documents must be completed and submitted prior to the start date.
