- Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association is required.
- Current and valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
- Current and valid certification preferred, Certified Pediatric Nurse or Certified Critical Care Nurse
Certification details
- Must be able to work Christmas
- Rooms/bed - 32
- Ratios: 1:2 (day/night/weekend)
- Float required (travelers are the first to float, typically to NICU or CCU but can float to MS)
- Weekends: every other
- Level II trauma exp required
- Must have experience from a large pediatric hospital.
- Typical medical/surgical ICU patients that are non-cardiac. Respiratory, Trauma, Neuro, etc.
- VENT, INTUBATION, SEDATION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Job details
- Diploma, Associates, or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of nursing required
- Minimum 2 year of RN experience required
- Experience with pediatric patients required.
- Previous experience with EPIC preferred.
