Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association is required.
Current and valid Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required
Current and valid certification preferred, Certified Pediatric Nurse or Certified Critical Care Nurse

Job details

Must be able to work Christmas
Rooms/bed - 32
Ratios: 1:2 (day/night/weekend)
Float required (travelers are the first to float, typically to NICU or CCU but can float to MS)
Weekends: every other
Level II trauma exp required
Must have experience from a large pediatric hospital.
Typical medical/surgical ICU patients that are non-cardiac. Respiratory, Trauma, Neuro, etc.
VENT, INTUBATION, SEDATION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Job requirements

Diploma, Associates, or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of nursing required
Minimum 2 year of RN experience required
Experience with pediatric patients required.
Previous experience with EPIC preferred.

Schedule information

Must be able to work Christmas
Every other weekend schedule
