- Traveler will be doing the following: Airway Management Devices/Suctioning: Endotracheal tube/suctioning, Extubation, Nasal airway placement, Nasal airway suctioning, Oral airway placement, Oropharyngeal/suctioning, Pulmonary Hygiene, Sputum specimen collection, Tracheostomy/suctioning, ABG interpretation
- Skills Required for success: Airway Management Devices/Suctioning, Albuterol, Atrovent, Combivent, Flovent, Inhaled steroids, Isuprel, Lidocaine, Perforomist, Pulmicort, Racemic epinephrine, Spiriva, Terbutaline Sulfate, Tobramycin, Xopenex, Aerosol set up mask, Aerosol set up trach, Medihaler, Metered dose inhaler, Nebulizer, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Trach collar, BiPAP, CPAP, Troubleshooting high pressure alarms, Weaning from mechanical ventilation, Assist in high risk delivery, Umbilical blood gases, Draeger V500, Draeger VN500, Servo U, Comfortable drawing and analyzing ABGs, Cerner
- 2 years of experience as an RRT in Adult Critical Care and NICU
- 1 prior travel assignment completed
- MD State licensure
- ED experience preferred
- ACLS preferred
- PALS preferred
- Shift: 3x12 Nights – 1830-0700 36HRS/Week
- No on call requirement, every other weekend required; holiday coverage expected
- Float between Adult and NICU
