Job Description

• Position: Oncology RN
• Shift: 3x12s PM (1900-0730)
• Contract Length: 8 weeks
• First-timers Accepted: Yes
• Years of Experience Required: 2 years
• Floating Required: Yes (Med/Surg, Med/Tele, ED, Postpartum)
• Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• On-call Requirement: No
• Documentation System: EPIC
• Type of Scheduling: Self Scheduling

Certifications Required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Additional Information

• RTO Restrictions: Pre-approved time off at the discretion of the manager; time must be included at the time of submission.
• Government issued Photo ID required.
• Emergency Contact Form required.
• Medication Calculation Test required for all RNs.
• Fit mask required within 1 year from the start date.
• TDAP vaccine within the last 10 years is required.
• Negative TB or Chest X-Ray within 1 year of start required.
• Flu Vaccine required from November 1 - April 30.
• No mandatory COVID-19 vaccination or booster at Memorial Care.

• Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella vaccination documentation
• Negative 9 Panel Drug Screen (within 1 year of start)

• 2 professional references required.

Skills Checklist

• Unit Specific Skills Checklist required, updated annually.

Internal Evaluation

• Annual internal evaluation (performed by Aya) is required if the candidate has worked for a year or more.
