Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin! We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) who would like to be part of the team in a Magnet® certified hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center. The role provides an opportunity to grow a career in an academic learning environment and involves working in a variety of critical care settings such as Trauma Life Center, Burn ICU, Neuro ICU, and Cardiac ICU. The nurse will also support and/or engage in Shared Governance at University Hospital.

Job requirements

ICU experience with adult populations is mandatory, and experience with multiple ICU units (transplant, neuro, trauma, etc) is also required. EPIC experience is a prerequisite, and the candidate must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years. Ability to work with IMC populations is also necessary.

Schedule information

Floating may be required, and travelers will have shifts scheduled in multiple units depending on current staffing needs. Shift re-assignment to another unit may occur to complete the contract if primary unit no longer has a need.

The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on current staffing needs and different locations within the organization. This can include Trauma Life Center, Burn ICU, Neuro ICU, and Cardiac ICU among others.

Additional Details

Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles from the assigned primary work site location.
Applicants are expected to have a current/valid Driver's License if driving is a requirement of the position.
