Patient Population: Adults to Geriatrics

General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Patient Diagnoses – general MS and possibly inpatient hospice; Charge experience is a plus; Since this is a smaller facility, MS will be required to have ACLS certification to run any codes until coverage from the ER arrives to the unit; No IV Team, Wound Care will be done virtually, No Cafeteria - Vending machines will have meal options; Parts of Orientation will take place at the Main Augusta campus approximately 3 miles down the road.

Ratio / Census: 1:6; 12 Beds

Unit Systems: Epic (Required), Pyxis, SBAR, Spacelabs

Scrub Color: Royal Blue

RTO: MAX 7 days

Weekends: Every other weekend

Floating: Possibility of floating to the Main Augusta campus located approximately 3 miles down the road.

Call Requirements: None

Holidays: If one major holiday falls in their assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in their assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in their assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

State License Verification within 30 days prior to start date

Candidates must upload their vaccine information into Piedmont’s Workforce Vaccination Tracker (during orientation week for new travelers).
