Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements: ARRT in MR. Washington State Radiologic Technologist License if candidate is ARRT certified in X-Ray or Computed Tomography

NOTE: If TRAVELER has an ARRT MR only, they do not need a WA state license

Orientation/Education Hours: Orientation/education hours are not guaranteed during the first 2 weeks of your assignment. Expect 25+ hours.

Hold an active BLS and WA License.

IV skills required.

Weekend Requirement: Varying

Holiday Requirement: Participate in the holiday rotation

Call or Standby requirement: Participate in the standby rotation

Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties: Brain, neck, Spine, Chest, Abd, Pelvis, Breast, Cardiac, Prostate, MSK, Imaging patients with Implanted devices and researching them prior to Imaging.

Experience or 'Must have' skills: Not required but encouraged having experience in MRI Cardiac, Breast and Breast Biopsy MRI.

Average # of scans/studies per day: 28

EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) they use: EPIC and Sectra PACS

Department Specific Equipment: 'Main Hospital GE 1.5T & 3T; Outpatient Clinics: Philips, Hitachi'

Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? Radiology Aides assist MRI Technologists

Radiologist in-house? Yes

Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided? Personal Scrubs. Hospital Scrubs provided only to OR staff
