Job requirements

Must have 1 year of Ortho/Neuro OR experience.
Experience with ortho, neuro, total joints (knees, hips, shoulders, ankles), sports medicine, arthroscopies, neuro-spinal fusions, cervical and lumbar fusions, micro discs, cranis, and no awake large neuro cases.

Schedule information

Rotating 8hr shifts 0645-1515; 0900-1730; 1500-2330; 0700-1930 (weekend only).
Weeknight/Call Requirements: 1-2 times per week, 1515-0645.
Weekend/Call Requirements: based on staffing Fri 1515-Mon 0645 every 3-4 weekends.
Holiday/Call Requirements: must be willing to work holidays, rotate with perm staff.
Call response time: 15 minutes.

Unit specific information

Department: OR (Tech)
Number of Suites: 12 ORs, 1 Endo Suite, 1 Cysto Suite.
Average number of cases per day: 25-30 cases
Common Cases: ortho neuro total joints, sports medicine, arthroscopies, neuro-spinal fusions, cervical and lumbar cases, micro discs, cranis.
Must be willing to float to cross train to other specialty cases if needed to be second scrub.
Must be willing to float to the floor as a 1:1 sitter (and will get train that day).
Scrub Color: provided.

Additional Details

Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity.
RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
Charge Nurse for all shifts 7a-11p M-F, weekends 7a-7p, manager until 4p M-F.
Department has a family atmosphere.
