  • Hospital located in Eastern Nebraska is looking for travel RN's in their HVI (Cardio/General ICU/PCU/MedSurg combined Unit) - Generalist ICU and PCU experience accepted.
  • PCU patients and ratio will be expected.
  • This is an ASAP need.
  • 13 weeks, 48 hour contracts.
    Job requirements
  • Generalist ICU and PCU experience accepted.
  • Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation.
  • Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated.
  • ICU/PCU background preferred.
  • Universal Care: Varying levels of care ICU, PCU, Med Surg cardiac and vascular patient.
  • Cardiac and vascular patient population.
  • Post op recovery of these patients and post procedure patients from cath lab.
  • Stroke designated as well and take some CVA patients.
  • CHF and any other cardiac and vascular related diagnosis.
  • Impella, balloon pump, ventilators, BIPAP, CPAP.
  • Amio, nitro, nicardapine, epi, cardizem. Multiple other cardiac medications for blood pressure management.
  • Adults- varies depending on acuity: 1:2 for ICU, 1:4 for PCU 1:5 for med surg.
    Schedule information
  • 13 weeks, 48 hour contracts.
  • Cyclic staff scheduling.
  • EKG exam required.
  • They will NOT contract block schedule. Candidates can work with the scheduler when they report but they are looking for flexible travelers.
  • Shifts: 12 hr nights
    Unit specific information
  • Universal Care: Varying levels of care ICU, PCU, Med Surg cardiac and vascular patient.
  • Cardiac and vascular patient population.
  • Post op recovery of these patients and post procedure patients from cath lab.
  • Stroke designated as well and take some CVA patients.
  • CHF and any other cardiac and vascular related diagnosis.
  • Impella, balloon pump, ventilators, BIPAP, CPAP.
  • Amio, nitro, nicardapine, epi, cardizem. Multiple other cardiac medications for blood pressure management.
    Additional Details
  • ACLS, BLS, NIHSS;**MUST HAVE CIVCU EXPERIENCE**
  • Navy scrubs.
  • Auto Offer based off of profile.
  • Interviews are not being conducted.
  • Candidates can work with the scheduler when they report.
  • RTO needed upfront (7 or less days required per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved including after submission.
