- Tele RN 1.6180 position available in Freeport, Illinois for a 13-week contract. The role involves working in the Telemetry department, providing care to stroke, CHF, ACS, CAD, and post-heart cath patients, among others. Applicants are encouraged to have experience with Cath Lab post-recovery and stroke care. Familiarity with Meditech is considered a plus.

- A minimum of 2+ years of recent experience in a similar role.
- Must have experience with managing and administering drips.
- No requirement to titrate drips for RNs.
Job requirements
- 12 hour shifts (0700-1930 or 1900-0730), including every other weekend and holiday rotation.
- Scheduling flexibility is required to meet the needs of the facility.
Schedule information
- Telemetry unit staffing includes one charge nurse, with nurse aides assigned based on acuity.
- The unit is equipped with BiPAP and High Flow RT equipment.
- Floating requirements may include ICU, MS, ER, and managing ER boarders.
Unit specific information
- Charge nurse carries a patient assignment and there are nurse aides on the unit depending on acuity.
- Travelers must disclose any previous employment at any FHN Memorial location.
- Orientation includes two 12-hour department specific shifts.
