Schedule information

Shifts: 0645-1915, 1845-0715
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirements: Every other holiday
Call or standby requirement: Depends on staffing
Floating Requirements: Yes - Medsurg, ER, wherever in the hospital the nurse is needed - PERM STAFF IS USUALLY FIRST TO FLOAT
No self scheduling. Block scheduling allowed

# of OR Suites on the unit for C-Sections: 1
# of Births per day? Month? Year?: 58 per month
Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios?: 1:1 for pit, mag, or insulin drips
RN: 1:3 couplet care
OB/Neonatologist in house 24/7?: no
Anesthesia in house 24/7?: no
RT Equipment: yes
Tele/Monitor Techs on this unit?: no
EFM System: traceview/PIP
EMR: Meditech
Scrub Color/Dress code: maroon, scrubs provided
Shifts of unit/department specific orientation: 3 shifts

Additional Details

Radius Rule: 50 miles
Candidates may not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity
RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13-week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions

The unit setup and the workload are so convenient. However, there is one staff in our team who is so lazy and has a toxic behavior which making our work heavier. She will comment and correct you, has an extremely high ego. But she doesn’t have a work ethics which makes her sound hypocrite.
