Minimum Experience: 3 years RN experience, 1 year of stepdown experience, 1 completed travel assignment, trauma level II experience
Charting Experience: Recent EPIC experience required
Patient Population: Cardiac, CIWA/BH, Sepsis, DKA, CVA, CPAP, feeding tubes, crani POD 2, GI bleeds, hypothermic/bear hugger
Skillset Required: Tele/12-lead EKG interpretation, Initiate/titrate drips, Post surgical assessment/care, NIHSS/Neuro assessments/dysphagia screen
Preferred Skills: Stable home vents, PleurX drain/pericardial drains, lumber drains, VP shunts, Narcan drips
Other Skills: Strong assessment and critical thinking

Schedule information

Shift Requirement: 12hr Nights 6:30-7
Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Three weekends out of every six-week schedule, Every other holiday

Unit Size: 16 beds
Staffing Ratio: Days 1:3-4; Nights 1:3-4 (1:5 for M/S)
Patient Profile: Cardiac, CIWA/BH, Sepsis, DKA, CVA, CPAP, feeding tubes, crani POD 2, GI bleeds, hypothermic/bear hugger
