As an ICU RN, may float to all inpatient units of skill level and below:
- ICU: 1:2 patient ratio
- Intermediate Care: 1:4-5 patient ratio
- General: 1:5-7 (possibly 1:5-8 in community hospitals)

Nurses receive an email on the day of their shift around 0400 or 1640 to provide ample time for travel adjustments.
Beaufort Hospital is approximately 35 minutes from ECU Medical Center, and Edgecombe Hospital is about 40 minutes away.
