Unit Information

Number of Beds: 30
Number of Staff: 57
Patient Ratios:
- Day Shift: 1 charge RN per 2-3 patients
- Night Shift: 1 charge RN per 2-3 patients
- Overflow may increase ratios
Type of Equipment: Lenet beds, GE monitors
EMR: Meditech

Required Skills

Must Have:
- Neuro experience
- Trauma experience
Preferred:
- Neuro certification

Typical Procedures

Rapid intubation
Chest tubes
EVD (External Ventricular Drain)

- Flexible and willing to change assignments mid-shift to accommodate patient acuity.
