Job details

Travel RN position for Emergency Department at Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina.

Job requirements

2 years' experience in Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high volume > 100,000 visit ED. Previous HCA experience preferred.
Must have: 2 years' experience as a nurse with at least 1-year experience in ER setting, teamwork mentality, ability to coach and give feedback in real time. Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED.

Schedule information

Scheduling requirements: Every other weekend, can't commit to block scheduling, scheduling must meet the needs of the dept.
Floating policy: No floating outside of the ED but must be open to floating to all sections in the ED.

Number of Beds: 101
Patient Ratios: 4:1 typically for medical, up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds
Unit staffing description: Techs available to work in cardiac monitoring unit and the internal processing area, triage, Unit clerks days and nights
Type of equipment: Baxter pumps, GE monitors
Documentation system: Cerner
