This is a float pool position. Candidate must be willing to float to multiple different units.
Candidate must have acute care hospital experience.
Candidate must be able to read and interpret their own telemetry.

Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 48/36
Weekend Hours: Varies (Travelers will be scheduled weekends, but the amount will fluctuate based on unit need)
Call Requirements: No
Float Requirements: Float Pool position, will float every shift

Unit specific information

Number of Beds: Varies based on unit floated to – smallest unit at MMC has 15 beds, largest has 40+ beds
Patient Ratios: Typically 1:4 on days (possibility of 1:5 when stretching) and 1:5 on nights (possibility of 1:6 when stretched)
Equipment: Abbott Plum Pumps
EMR: EPIC
Type of Patients on Unit: Varies based on unit floated to
Personality Fit: Flexibility is a must

This usually proves to be a challenge for the traveler, so having at least 1 travel assignment, or prior Float Pool experience will set the traveler up for success.
