- This is a float pool position. Candidate must be willing to float to multiple different units.

- Candidate must be able to read and interpret their own telemetry.

- 2 years’ inpatient hospital experience preferred
- 2 years’ hospital experience
- Must be able to read & interpret telemetry strips
- At least 1 previous travel assignment preferred
Job requirements
- Shift: Day shift is 0700 – 1930
- Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 48/36
- Weekend Hours: Varies (Travelers will be scheduled weekends, but the amount will fluctuate based on unit need)
- Call Requirements: No
- Float Requirements: Float Pool position, will float every shift
Schedule information
- Number of Beds: Varies based on unit floated to – smallest unit at MMC has 15 beds, largest has 40+ beds
- Patient Ratios: Typically 1:4 on days (possibility of 1:5 when stretching) and 1:5 on nights (possibility of 1:6 when stretched)
- Equipment: Abbott Plum Pumps
- EMR: EPIC
- Type of Patients on Unit: Varies based on unit floated to
- Personality Fit: Flexibility is a must

- This usually proves to be a challenge for the traveler, so having at least 1 travel assignment, or prior Float Pool experience will set the traveler up for success.
