  • Special Skills/Experience required: 2 years +
  • All candidates are required to float. Please inform candidate of the Methodist Floating Policy.
  • General ICU experience.
  • Titration of drips
  • 2+ Years of Hospital Experience

    Schedule information
  • Shift Detail: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A
  • Quantity: Assignment Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift/Workdays: 7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A
  • Weekend – Rotating
  • Call Requirements: No
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36
  • Scheduling requirements: 36 hours per week – 3 – 12 hour shifts with alternating weekends.

  • Unit Highlights: PLEASE READ EXPERIENCE FULLY!
  • Number of Beds: 12
  • Patient Ratios: 2:1 (3:1 if low acuity)
  • Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries, free Charge Nurse)
  • Type of equipment: Common to ICU
  • Documentation system: Meditech
  • Floating policy: As needed
  • Procedures performed on unit: A-line, Central Lines, Chest Tubes, Cardioversion, paracentesis, etc.
  • Dress Code: Include requirements, but most of all, not acceptable attire
  • Scrub Color: RN: Navy-scrub top and pant, Navy or white scrub jacket
  • Nail Policy – Clean and Healthy
  • Hair - hair should be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors.
  • Tattoos – Body art should be covered whenever possible.
  • Piercings – Visible piercings other than ears, is prohibited
