Job Description

The Physical Therapist will direct, supervise, evaluate, and provide Physical Therapy services to patients in various settings, including acute, swing, skilled nursing, and outpatient, as prescribed by the attending physician.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy
• Current California Physical Therapy License
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS Certification (AHA approved)
• Passed the National Physical Therapist Examination (NPTE)
• Compliant with state regulatory requirements

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year in acute, swingbed/skilled nursing, and/or outpatient settings

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Compassionate and attentive to detail
• Up-to-date knowledge of treatment practices
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Strong analytical and logical thinking abilities
• Capability to manage patients with diverse personalities and diagnoses
