- The Massage Therapist is responsible for evaluating infant through adult patients for massage therapy as a result of injury or disease; implementing massage therapy programs and services to meet the clinical needs of patients and families; providing education/in-services for family members, hospital staff, and community regarding the indications and benefits of massage therapy; documenting evaluation results and patient progress, and providing patient and family education. Demonstrates competence defined (*) in Massage Therapy responsibilities in providing age-appropriate care and services to patients from the age of birth through adulthood.
- High School or GED
- LMT - Licensed Massage Therapist
- BLS - Basic Life Support certification
- Field of Study: High school
- Years of experience: 760 hours
- I-9 and E-Verify Attestation Form is required.
- Requires a copy of driver's license with them at all times for Hospice, Home Health, or anyone required to drive for their position.
- Of note, the 'date declared' on the Residency Declaration Form should be the date that the candidate began living in the state, not the date the form was signed.
