  • Required Skills: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, use of Rapid Response Teams, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Surgical drains, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac
  • Preferred Skills: Titrate cardiac drips, titrate vasoactive drips, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac
  • Ratios: 1:6 for floor for surgical/medicine inpatient patients
  • Scheduling Type: Schedule as needed
  • Unit Orientation: 2 Days of hospital orientation, 24 hours of floor training
  • SCRUBS: All Navy or Navy on bottom/White Top
  • Combination acuity unit: Adult medical surgical and surgical stepdown

    Schedule information
  • Shift: 12 HR NIGHTS; 36 or 48 hours accepted
  • Expected to work every other weekend
  • Float Requirements: when needed to like units
  • RTO: 7 days MAX
