4W Medical Surgical / Telemetry RN
4x12 Nights 7p-7a, weekdays, every other weekend, float
Orientation held every other week on Thursday
Ratios: 1:5, up to 6/7 to 1 in certain circumstances
Years of experience required: 2 Years RN Experience; 1 Year In-Specialty Experience
First-timers accepted if experience requirements met
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend required
Float within scope if needed
Manager cannot guarantee blocked schedule requests
RTO Restrictions: discuss with manager during interview
WV/Compact RN License required - can submit with pending RN license

Job requirements

2 Years RN Experience
1 Year In-Specialty Experience

Post Cardiac Cath Post Angiogram PTCA experience required

Unit specific information

39 Beds. Cardiac - Acute MI unstable angina CHF unstable arrhythmias and cardiac disorders
CVA surgical patients
Observation unit with high turnaround 36 hours or less
Half inpatient half observation on average
Adult and Geriatric patient populations
Cardioversion TEE thoracentesis bone marrow biopsy chest tube insertion central line insertion paracentesis experience preferred but not required
