Job Description

• Required Certifications:

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • NIH (National Institutes of Health)
• Additional Information:

  • Patient Ratios: 1:5
  • Every other weekend requirement
  • Floating is required

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Certifications

• ACLS: Required for RNs in specific departments (e.g., Cath Lab, CCU, ER, ICU).
• BLS: Required for all RNs.
• PALS: Required for ER, Pediatrics, and PICU.
• NRP: Required for L&D, NICU, and Post Partum RNs.
• TNCC: Required for all Pre-Start ER RNs.
• EFM: Required for L&D RNs.
• CPI: Required for Psych/Behavioral Health RNs.
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam: Required as applicable by profession.
• Competency Exam: Required as applicable to profession/specialty.

Health Documents

• Physical Exam: Required within 1 year of start.
• Negative TB or Chest X-Ray: Required within 1 year of start.
• Drug Testing: Negative 9 Panel Drug Screen required within 60 days of start.
• Flu Seasonal Vaccination: Required during flu season (9/1-3/31).
• COVID-19 Vaccination: Not required as of 11/21/23.

Background Check

• 7-Year Background Check: Required within 60 days of start, including various searches (criminal, sex offender, etc.).

Additional Requirements

• References: 2 professional references required within the last 3 years.
• Resume: Must include at least 7 years of employment history with no gaps greater than 30 days.

Skills and Competencies

• Skills Checklist: Required and updated annually.
• Education Verification: Required for Medical Lab Scientist.
