Shift: 3x12 Nights (1800-0630)

Years of experience REQ: Minimum 2 years' experience required.

Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float to peds, based on need.

Must have active IL license or be in application process with ETA to apply.

RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.

Required Work Setting Experience: Antepartum, Labor and Delivery, High Risk Antepartum, Level I Nursery, LDRP, Mother/Baby.

Required Antepartum Care and Procedures Skills/Experience: Assist with sterile speculum exam, NST, OCT, Reflex checks, Sterile vaginal exam, Triage of obstetrical patients, Use of EFM.

Required Fetal Monitoring Skills/Experience: Use of External Fetal Monitoring, Use of Internal Fetal Monitoring, Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns.

Required IV Therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/Experience: Administration of blood & blood products, Start & maintain peripheral IV, Use of infusion pumps, drips, IV monitoring.

Required Medication and Administration Skills/Experience: Antihypertensives, Magnesium Sulfate therapy, Pitocin, Prostaglandins.

Required Labor and Delivery Management Skills/Experience: Assist with high risk delivery, Assist with vaginal delivery, Circulate for C-section.

Required Neonatal Care in Delivery Room Skills/Experience: APGAR scores, ID/Security Banding, Radiant Warmers/Thermoregulation.

Required Newborn Care Skills/Experience: Assist with Circumcision, Cord Care, Discharge teaching to parents, Newborn Assessment.

Required Pain Management Skills/Experience: Epidural Anesthesia, Pain assessment & management.

Required Postpartum Care Skills/Experience: Episiotomy care, Foley Catheter insertion, Fundus/perineum care.

Required Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation Precautions/PPE, Vaccine Administration.

Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours.
