- hold an active BLS, ACLS, ARRT, FLUORO and CA license.
Job requirements
- Evening weekday call requirement depends on needs - shift is 3:30pm-7am.
- Self-scheduling hours are 7am-3:30pm.
- Call is required for weekends - every other weekend, maybe more maybe less, weekend call is from 3:30pm on Friday to 7am on Monday.
- Call team is one nurse and 2 techs.
- Response time 30 min.
Schedule information
- # suites/labs: 3.
- Certs/ARRT: Techs can have RCIS or ARRT.
- EMR/Equipment: Cerner - Xper.
- Charge Nurse: yes - supervisor is on call after hours.
- Holidays: call would be required.
- Scrub Color/provided: Provided.
- Tele: Philips.
- Vents: Yes.
- Cardiologist hours/on call: On call after hours (7p-7a).
- IV Team: No.
- RT 24/7: Yes.
- Pharmacy 24/7: Yes.
Unit specific information
- Common cases (IR & Cath lab): IR - venous placement, port-a-cath, fistula, biliary tube, neph tube, IVC filter. Cath lab - L & R caths, stemi's, ICD's, pacemaker, carotids, peripherals.
- EP lab experience is preferred for travelers.
- 2 years experience required.
- Travel experience is preferred.
