Mixed-acuity unit - Ratios are 1:2 for PICU, 1:3 for PCU, 1:4 Acute
24 bed unit
2 years of PICU experience required at a Level 1 Trauma Center
Epic charting experience required

Job requirements

BLS required
PALS required
ACLS preferred
Pending license accepted
Completion of RTO requests
Must be more than 100 miles from facility
First time travelers NOT accepted unless they have 3+ years of PICU experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center

Schedule information

3 weekend shifts per 4 week schedule period
May be placed on call for regularly scheduled shifts
RTO restrictions: Up to two weeks of RTO permitted; must be submitted with application

Unit specific information

May be required to float to adult care areas only to perform tasks and Rover duties

Additional Details

Government-Issued Photo ID Required
Scrubs are mandatory; RNs wear Steele gray scrubs
Parking permit available for approximately $55/month; daily parking rate is $3
