RN / MS / Tele / Neuro
Tele is Required. Must be Proficient in Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, there will be a test.
Start date: 1/6
Duration: 13 Weeks
Ratios: 1:5
Years of experience REQ: Must have 2 years experience. Willing to look at first time travelers if they have strong neuro experience.
First-timers accepted: If they have strong neuro experience
Weekend REQ: Every other, flexibility in scheduling required
Certs REQ: NIH, BLS
Is on-call REQ? NO
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes, travelers first to float
Open to accommodating block schedule? NO
Locals accepted: YES
Pending License accepted: NO
RTO Restrictions: no more than 6 days
Guaranteed Hours: Facility able to call off 1 shift per every 2 week pay period
Special Requirements: Required skills are IV start, telemetry and care for tracheostomy and preferred level 1 trauma.
Patient population: Neurosurgery, Neurology, and Epilepsy patients. Traumatic brain injury, Craniotomy, Craniectomy, Aneurysm clipping and coiling, Spinal cord injury, Strokes, Seizure, Epilepsy, Change in mental status, Telemetry.

Job requirements

Must have 2 years experience.
Strong neuro experience preferred for first-timers.

Schedule information

Weekend REQ: Every other, flexibility in scheduling required
RTO Restrictions: no more than 6 days

Unit specific information

Patient population: Neurosurgery, Neurology, and Epilepsy patients.

Additional Details

ACLS is required for ICU (all ICU and Neuro ICU), ED, MS/TELE floats, Acute Care Float Pool, PACU, and Ambulatory Care specialties.
