PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years experience in labor and delivery and postpartum care.

Job requirements

2 years experience required in labor and delivery and postpartum care
Must be able to manage a 3 couplet assignment for a total of 6 patients
Attend a delivery as a baby nurse and provide resuscitation and stabilization to the infant after delivery if needed
Triage 1-2 labor patients
Able to assume labor patients with 1:1 acuity including labor patients with hypertension and insulin dependent diabetics
