- Rotating Weekends
- Unit Profiles - an exceptional understanding of the unit including location, number of beds, patient ratios, and other unique details.
- Number of Beds - 32
- Number of Staff – 50
- Type of staff: Day Shift – (1 charge, 6 nurses, 3 PCTS), Night Shift - (1 charge, 5 nurses, 2 PCTS)
- Patient Ratios – 1:5 or 1:6 days, 1:6 or 1:7 nights
- Type of equipment – PCAs, on-Q pumps, Hoyer lift, traction, wound vacs
- EMR - Meditech
- Typical procedures performed on units: Neurosurgeries (kyphoplasty, decompression, laminectomy), fracture repairs/IM nailing, general surgery, Bariatric surgery (gastric sleeve), bladder sling, hysterectomy
- Dress Code - Scrub Color: navy blue
- Detail-oriented approach to work
- Upbeat, team player
- Time management skills are crucial
