Type of equipment: Telemetry monitoring, continuous pulse ox.
EMR: Meditech.
Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have ACLS, BLS, Telemetry experience.
Preferred or nice to have: NIH Stroke Prepared, PALS, ICU, Tele, PCU experience.
Typical procedures performed on unit(s): Blood transfusions, IV starts, Midline/central line removals, high fall risk patient populations, Respiratory and cardiac assessments.
Best personality Fit: Team player, engaged, self-motivator.

Job requirements

ACLS/BLS certifications required.
Telemetry experience is a must.
NIH Stroke Prepared preferred.
PALS, ICU, Tele, PCU experience preferred.

Schedule information

Day Shift: 1 CN, 2 PCT, 1 UC, 7 RNs (Sitters if needed).
Night Shift: 1 CN, 2 PCT, 7 RNs.
Weekends and On call: ALL.

Unit specific information

Unit Details: Tele/PCU Cardiac Unit.
Floating Areas: Med surg, Tele, PCU, ED Holds.
Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Navy Blue.
