Job requirements

Orthopedic surgeries (knee, hip, shoulder), Orthopedic injuries, Oncology, Post Surgical such as hysterectomies, breast reconstruction, plastic surgery, Urological cases and abdominal cases. Behavioral patients awaiting medical clearance
Must have flexibility and resilience in stressful situations.
Great organizational and communication skills.
Ability to do team nursing in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule information

12-hour shifts
Shift Times: 1830-0700
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
Typical Orientation Period: One week per unit (2 weeks)

Unit specific information

RN's - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation. OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass. Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated.
EMR System: EPIC
IV Pumps: Alaris
Staffing challenges and quick patient turnaround.
Are Staff Required to Float? If so, where? Yes-2 Med-Surg Units and PCU.
