Job Description

• Position: CV Operating Room RN
• Shift: Day shift with possible night shift rotation
• Orientation: Bi-Weekly
• Call Requirements:

  • Weeknight: 1-2 nights/week on average
  • Weekend: Approx. every 4-5 weeks (24 hours Saturday OR Sunday, 1-2 days/month)
• Float Requirement: General OR
• Block Schedule: Not accommodated
• Experience Required: 2 years of OR RN experience
• Certifications Required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)

Additional Information

• Travelers: First-time travelers are not accepted.
• Local Candidates: Not accepted (must be more than 100 miles from the facility).
• Parking: Parking permit available (approx. $55/month) or daily rate parking ($3 for 20 hours).
• Contract Length: 13 weeks

  • Fit Test (within 1 year of start)
  • Tdap/Tetanus vaccine (within the last 10 years)
  • Negative TB or Chest X-Ray (within 1 year of start)

  • COVID-19 Vaccination (preferred)
• Background Check: Required within 30 days of start, including all locations lived/worked/schooled in the past 7 years.

• High School Diploma: Required for specific roles (e.g., Respiratory Therapists, Laboratory roles)
• Education Verification: Required for all candidates
