Required Certifications and Licenses

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) - Required for ICU, ER, PCU, Cath Lab, PACU, Tele, Respiratory Therapists.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) - Required.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - Required for PICU, ER, PACU.
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - Required for NICU, Nursery, Antepartum, PostPartum, and Labor & Delivery units.
• CHEMO Certification - Required for Oncology.
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - Required for ER; preferred for ICU.
• EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) - Intermediate or Advanced AWHONN required for L&D, Mother-Baby/Post Partum, Nursery.
• State License Verification - Valid state licensure/certification as required for services being performed.
• NIH Stroke Certification - Required for Tele and ICU.
• Tech Cert Verification - National for RRTs with WA RT License.

Additional Requirements

• Background Check - Required within 60 days of start.
• Drug Screen - Required within 30 days of start.
• Physical Exam - Required within 1 year of start.
• References - Two references from Charge RN or higher from the last 3 years, covering 1 year in specialty.
• Work History Verification - Must verify last 7 years of employment with proof of 1 year in specialty.
• Employment Application - Must be submitted with the file.

Health Documents

• Flu Seasonal Vaccination/Documentation - Required during flu season.
• COVID Seasonal Vaccination/Documentation - Required for 2024-2025.
• TB Testing - Negative IGRA or 2 PPDs within 1 year of start.
• Hepatitis B - Positive titer or series required.
• Varicella - Evidence of immunity or vaccination required.
